Wondering how Freespoke labels the sources? See something mislabeled?
You should have this context at your fingertips, so we work to aggregate publisher bias ratings from many sources like Allsides and Ad Fontes media to bring easily recognizable labels on our newsfeed.
If a source hasn't received a public rating yet, we get the conversation started with a general rating of our own to provide a comprehensive and ever-expanding list of context around the publishers you're reading. If a source is contested by a reader, we run it through the widely accepted sources already established to build context around published content. And then we update new content as it is published. The benefit is you always have a general guide to get the full story on a topic of interest.
Our goal will always be to show you all the viewpoints, not push an opinion. It's easy to get caught up in one bias/label but take a chance and see what the other guys are saying on the same topic. You may be surprised by what you find!
